Complete a total of 6 flights.

Either flat field Thermal flights of 30 minutes duration, or slope flights of 60 minutes duration.

Complete 3 consecutive spot landings.

Within 3 meters (9ft 10 in.) of a previously marked spot from a launch height of at least 30 meters (100 ft).

Complete 3 precision flights.

Duration of 2 minutes (+/- 2 sec) with a landing within 1.5 meters (4 ft 11 in) of a previously marked spot.

Complete one 'goal and return' flight.

Additional Task Information

Tasks may be completed in any order (applies to other levels). All flights must be launched by the pilot using either a high-start, winch or his own strong arm if on the slope. Distances are measured from the tip of the sailplanes nose to the marked spot (applies to other levels) and the sailplane must not be damaged to the extent that it can not be flown safely without prior repair (applies to other levels) and must not be inverted at the end of the landing. The flight times in task group 3 must be  2 minutes +/- 2 seconds. Time stops at the point of the gliders initial contact with the ground. Note, as with all levels, you must have an official CSS form for this level, signed by the CSS director.
